Jeffrey Huyghe, Position Control Assistant
Human Resources and Labor Relations
I began working for Macomb County in May of 2015 in Human Resources and Labor Relations as a Typist Clerk and moved into the Account Clerk III position in July of 2015. As an Account Clerk III, I was responsible for pre-employment services for Human Resources and Labor Relations. In April 2018, I was promoted to Position Control Assistant. I process personnel actions, increments and union dues, and perform other duties related to position control for multiple departments, including Circuit Court, Circuit Court - Juvenile Division, District Courts, Friend of the Court, Macomb Community Action, Emergency Management, Health Department, Human Resources and Labor Relations, Information Technology, MSU Extension, Office of the Sheriff, Probate Court, Public Works, Reimbursement, Treasurer and Veterans’ Services. Prior to joining the County, Prior to joining the County, I performed pre-employment functions for a security firm for approximately 7 years. Macomb County offered me the opportunity to assist people on a larger scale. I enjoy meeting the many unique individuals hired into the County.
Education
I am a student at Macomb Community College, pursuing a degree in Business.
