Human Resources and Labor Relations
I began my career with Macomb County in September 2008 as a Typist Clerk in the Register of Deeds Office. In July 2012, I joined Human Resources and Labor Relations as an Account Clerk III, where I assisted with retirement, terminations and benefits administration. In March 2015, I was promoted to Retirement Specialist, where I assist employees through the retirement process by providing information and guidance and preparing final retirement calculations. I provide support to current retirees as well. Prior to joining the County, I worked for over 25 years at a financial institution, primarily as a Human Resources Officer, where I managed employee benefits, pensions, new hire orientation and compliance. I enjoy living and working in Macomb County and helping employees transition into the next phase of their life.
