Human Resources and Labor Relations
I began my career with Macomb County in September of 2005 as a Human Resources Technician in the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department. I was primarily responsible for recruitment services, orientation, and project work in employee relations. In January of 2009, I went to work for the Macomb St. Clair Employment and Training Agency as a Case Manager for the No Worker Left Behind Program. I had the unique opportunity to help many unemployed individuals pursue training to help increase their skills and return to the workforce. In May of 2011, I was welcomed back to the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department in my current role as a Human Resources and Labor Relations Consultant. I provide strategic solutions and guidance on a variety of human resources related matters for the Board of Commissioners, Community Mental Health, Juvenile Justice Center, Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and Macomb/St. Clair Employment and Training Agency. Prior to joining Macomb County, I worked in the human resources field with an emphasis on recruiting and employee relations. Working for Macomb County has provided me the opportunity to learn about the valuable programs and services our County provides. I enjoy and take pride in serving the County in which I live, work and play.
